HIA is excited to offer the developing coder a training plan that includes general topics that influence ICD-10 coding. These courses will give the coder the perspective needed regarding coding and abstracting before progressing into more specific diagnosis and procedure topics, while also increasing productivity.

Student Course Training Plan
For students, HIA provides a training plan with some of the more common coding topics they will encounter while coding. The plan includes diagnosis, ICD-10-PCS procedure and CPT Procedure courses. Mastering coding in these areas is crucial for coders and lays the groundwork for more intense study.
